Set up PawScan buy alerts in Telegram

This guide is for group admins adding a supported Robinhood Chain token. You do not need to hold PSCAN or connect a wallet to configure the beta bot.

1. Add the bot to your group

Add PawScan to a group. Choose your community. The bot needs permission to send messages and any media you enable. Bot admin status makes group membership checks reliable; buy alerts do not require moderation powers such as banning members or appointing admins.

2. Add the token contract

As a group admin, send /setup. Reply to the bot’s prompt with the full token contract address, not a pool, curve or wallet address. Use the official project source for the address. The input expires after five minutes; send /setup again if needed. Use /cancel to stop.

3. Choose the minimum buy

Open Emoji & amounts. Set a minimum buy for notifications and the emoji display. A minimum of 0 allows quote-only alerts if a USD estimate is unavailable. With a positive USD minimum, tracking waits for a usable price instead of inventing a dollar value.

4. Add media and links

Use Media for an optional photo, GIF or video. Social links and Buttons let you configure project links. Check the destination of each link. Use Preview alert to see the layout; the example amounts and recipient are test data.

5. Check tracking

Make sure Alerts ON is shown. Use /trackstatus or the Status button to inspect progress and waiting reasons. Alerts cover eligible new activity after initialization; a preview does not prove that the live feed is receiving purchases.

If no alert appears

Check the token address and supported network, group permissions, Alerts ON and your minimum buy. Then inspect /trackstatus. Data-provider interruptions, unavailable USD prices or unsupported routes can delay or prevent alerts. The bot process must remain online. Do not make a purchase solely to test the bot; you can wait for organic activity.
